September 1999. I recently went to a taping of The Daily Show, and while I didn't meet the evening talk show Adonis, I was in the second row. I have a really bizarre laugh, which I'm sure he heard. At least twice, I swear he looked right at me and was ready to crack up (my laugh has that effect on people) and was doing his best to hold it in. Oh, and one of his assistants actually told me I had a great laugh!

December 1999. I went to The Daily Show again, and we got front row seats this time. But I was behind the camera again and could not see Jon at all once the show started! But before Jon came on, Paul Michael Mercurio (his warm up guy) talked to me in front of everyone, told me I'm very outgoing, and asked if I'm an actress. Then when Jon came out he asked how everyone was doing and I cheered really loud, Jon looked right at me and said something like, "Wow, that's, uh, really good!" Then later, when Paul announced they were going to show Frank De Caro's piece on "Fabulosity," I whooped really loud because Frankie is from my area and I was trying to show some almost-hometown support, and my friends told me Jon looked around the camera at me with a curious look on his face. He probably thinks I have a crush on Frank or something ....
