Jon performed at my college in the spring of 1995, and I didn't get to go because it was sold out. DAMN college students!  All of my friends who went still hold that over my head saying how it was the funniest thing they ever saw. I hate them.  Not to mention the fact that there was a rumor, and I stress this was only a rumor, that Jon had hooked up with a student while he was there. This was, of course, prior to him meeting his wife. I still believe in my little delusional world that if I had been at that show, that girl could have been me.  OK, well, it is a nice little unrealistic dream, but I digress.

I have two other comments: 1) One of my friends went to NYU and used to live down the street from Jon in the east village. She said she used to see him just hanging out on the stoop and that he was exceptionally friendly and nice (not surprising). 2) One of the people Jon thanks in his book is someone who went to high school with my brother and someone I actually know.  How crazy is that?!
