A VERY MERRY MUPPET CHRISTMAS MOVIE

Aired on NBC in late 2002. Advertising for this movie indicated that Jon was supposed to have a cameo. He didn't. And boy, were we mad. At any rate, the Muppets are now on our hit list.

A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie will feature Whoopi Goldberg, Joan Cusack and David Arquette in starring roles, with cameos from Snoop, Sir Michael Caine, William H. Macy, Carson Daly, Jon Stewart and Kelly Ripa, among others. The plot features Cusack as a bank owner intent on demolishing the classic Muppet Theater and replacing it with a hip nightclub, while Arquette stars as a rookie angel looking to help Kermit and the gang.
